Adventurine (Aventurine) - A good luck stone, especially in financial matters. Stimulates creativity, intelligence and perception. A great healing stone, it gives a sense of mental and emotional well-being. Independence, leadership, creativity. Balances male/female energies. Aligns mental, physical, emotional, and auric bodies.

Agate - Balances ying-yang energy, stabilizes the aura. Facilitates discernment. Imparts strength and courage. Opens one to innate creative talents. (There are many forms of agate, each with specific properties.)
(moss agate) - Aids in communication with the plants, animals and all of nature. Moss Agate is associated with fertility of plants, protection of the earth, rain, prosperity, abundance, healing, restoration and creativity. Helps to improve self esteem and emotional balancing. A good prosperity stone. Moss agate is said to cleanse the emotional body and release anger and frustration. This stone is helpful when starting new friendships or when seeking a compatible lover.

Alexandrite - renewal and regeneration, openness to higher self. Brings love, joy, and luck.

Amazonite - helps clarify and improve thinking. Balancing energy, harmony, universal love.

Amber - Purifies body, mind, and spirit. Balances electromagnetics of the body and allows even flow of energies. Provides a positive, soothing energy. Spiritualizes the intellect. Healing, protection from negativity, attractiveness and energy.

Amethyst - Sedative energy. Facilitates spirituality and contentment. Stone of stability, strength, and peace. Excellent for meditation. Enhances psychic ability.

Aquamarine - Courage, intellect, protection. Assists spiritual awareness, actualization.

Azurite - Awakens psychic ability, insight, intuition. Third eye. Excellent for clearing the mind in meditation.

Apache Tears - Assists in the grieving process, and allows forgiveness. Breaks down the barriers that hold one back. Also good for the analytical mind.

Bloodstone - healing, especially related to the blood. Increases courage and charitability.

Calcite - Energy amplifier, teacher. Optical Calcite is excellent for clearing and cleansing.

Carnelian - general healing stone. Restores the natural energy flows of your body.

Celestite - Excellent stone for dream recall and astral travel. Hope and harmony. Communication.

Chrysocolla - Strength, balance. Promotes harmony and attunement to the earth. Purifies one's environment. Soothes nervous tension.

Chrysoprase - Balances yin-yang energy. Acceptance of self and others. Soothes heartache and helps depression.

Citrine - Positive energy - stone needs no cleansing . Dissipates negative energy. Warmth, joy, optimism. Helps digestion and aids in intellectual functions.

Copal - Excellent for strengthening the abilities of the mind, and altered states of consciousness. Amplifies one's energy field.

Coral - helps in childbirth and adoption. Wards off bad thoughts from others and promotes general well-being.

Diamond - Purity, perfection, abundance, inspiration.

Emerald - Loyalty, sensitivity, harmony, tranquility. A mind stone, it assists in memory retention and quick mental clarity.

Fluorite - Stability, order, discernment, concentration. Helps one to understand and maintain ideals and the perfection of the universe.

Garnet - Commitment, devotion, love, stability and order. Even flow of energy.

Goldstone - Spirituality, understanding, attunement to nature. Attracts positive energy. Excellent healer.

Hematite - Excellent for the mind, calms and soothes, reducing stress and blood pressure. Grounding.

Herkimer Diamond - Awareness, attunement, clairvoyance, telepathy. Good for information retention.

Howlite - reduces stress and anxiety. Quietly soothes and calms to bring gentleness and patience.

Jade - Harmony, peace, fidelity, confidence. A wonderful dream stone.

Jasper - Protection, awareness, insight. Grounding.
(red jasper) - helps with conflict and aggression. Promotes grace and perseverence.

Kunzite - Communication, love, peace. Protects and dissolves negativity. Excellent for meditation.

Kyanite - Never needs cleaning or clearing, aligns all chakras. Tranquility, communication, psychic awareness. Excellent for meditation and dream recall.

Labradorite - Represents the light of the universe, extra-terrestrial energy. Intuition, subconscious. Illumination.

Lapis Lazuli - Knowledge, wisdom, perfection, protection, creative expression. Emotional healing and stability.

Lepidolite - Honesty, stability, hope, acceptance. Assists in change and transition. Facilitates astral travel.

Malachite - Transformation, spiritual development. Clears the way to attain goals. Fidelity, loyalty, reasoning ability.

Moldavite - Clarity, eternity. Extra-terrestrial, interdimensional access.

Moonstone - Lunar, female energy. Emotional, intuitive. Rhythms, cycles, destiny.

Obsidian - Dispels negativity. Grounding, healing, protective. Helps one to clearly see one's flaws and the changes that are necessary.

Onyx - Centering, self-control, intuitive guidance. Assists in the grieving process.

Opal - Awakens and helps understanding of psychic intuition and mysticism. Encourages living authentically in feeling and action, with faithfullness and loyalty. Helpful for eyesight and during childbirth.

Pearl - mother stone. Fosters motherly love and is a protective stone. Inspires purity, innocence, serenity, tranquility, focus and helps us get in touch with the simple honest things of life. Pearls are said to redress mental disturbance, endow maternal bliss, grant success in education, and also give access to property and vehicles. Pearls ensure good health and longevity and are said to attract fame and wealth. Helps tackle the evil eye and may abridge differences between quarrelling spouses. The stone redresses gastric disorders, asthma, cough, eye trouble, breathing trouble as also lung disorders.

Peridot - Healing, protective. Allows one to understand changes in one's life, regulates life cycles.

Petrified Wood - Grounding, provides strength. Stone of transformation.

Pyrite - Shields from negative energy, good stone of protection. Enhances intellect and memory. Symbol of the sun.

Quartz Crystal (clear) - the greatest of all healing stones. Acts as an amplifier for psychic energy and aids meditation and visualization. Universal crystal, clarity of consciousness
(rose quartz) - great for attracting love. Promotes self-loving and heals emotional wounds as well as promoting peace, forgiveness and nurturing.
(rutilated quartz) - Intensifies energy of the crystal. Stimulates brain. Inspiration, clairvoyance.
(smoky quartz) - a grounding stone which helps reduce depression and negative emotions.

Rhodochrosite - Love energy. Helps release past psychological issues, excellent stone for balance in all areas, including eyesight.

Rhodonite - self-affirmation and self-love. Fosters ability to remain calm in arguments and resolve disagreements in a loving way.

Ruby - Loving, nurturing, spirituality ,economic stability, psychic protection and helpful for blood related health issues.

Sapphire - Clears the mind of unwanted thoughts. Joy, peace, beauty, prosperity.

Selenite (Gypsum) - Clarity of consciousness, awareness, insight, good judgement. Aids in accessing past/future lives.

Sardonyx - encourages self-control and courage in public speaking. Relieves anxiety and grief. Protection, luck, and peace.

Silver - Mirror to the soul. Eloquence. Connects physical and astral bodies. In jewelry, it provides a balanced setting that retains the qualities of the stone it holds. Lunar energy. Cleansing, balancing.

Snowflake Obsidian - protects against nightmares and emotional draining.

Sodalite - Logic, efficiency, truthfulness. Enhances group communication.

Sugilite - Spiritual love, perfection, inspiration, confidence. Alleviates negative/destructive emotions.

Tanzanite - increases psychic abilities and enhances spiritual connectedness.

Tigereye - Earthy, grounding. Represents sun and earth. Optimism, insight, personal power. Clear thinking, helps in manifesting will, courage and confidence.

Topaz - soothes physical pain, promotes peace and calms emotions, as well as promoting forgiveness. Promotes individuality, self-confidence, and creativity. Counteracts negative emotions.

Tourmaline - (multicolor) Inspiration, understanding, self-confidence, balancing. Electrical.
(Black) - strong protection from negative energies. Reduces fears, obsessions, neurosis, and panic with a calm rootedness.
(Pink) - promotes compassion, love and healing of emotional pain.
(green) - cleanses and detoxifies the spirit, brings prosperity.
(blue) - helpful with verbal, speech and throat problems. Mental peace and patience.
(watermelon) - heals old emotional pains and brings emotional understanding.

Tourmalinated Quartz - Strength, balancing. Combines attributes of tourmaline and quartz.

Turquoise - Spiritual attunement, strength, grounding. Protective - excellent for astral travel. Healing stone. Attracts friendship, luck and happiness. Releases shame and guilt.

Unakite - promotes balance and emotional stability. Transforms negative emotions into positive ones. A grounding stone.

Zircon - Virtue, unification, continuity, purity.
